New activity packs available on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from September

Here at The Gallery we are excited to announce that, as of September 2010, we will be introducing a new scheme, whereby children are welcome to drop by and pick up an 'activity pack' which they can take to the table and work on, whilst a member of staff is present in The Gallery.

 

The activity packs are available on our drop-in mornings - Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays. They are for children who are happy getting on with crafty activities as the projects are overseen rather than taught. If you have some shopping to do and can't face dragging the children around with you, why not pop by and see what we have to offer - just email doodle@thegallery.gg or call 713135.

 

The packs are suitable for children ages 5 and over and are designed to last a maximum of one hour each. We ask that parents endeavour to return to pick up their children within this time-scale. Once the activity is finished they can sit down on the tea-party area and indulge in a biscuit or two while they wait for pick-up and showing off their masterpieces.

 

If your child has any specific requirements, please let us know. We are all very nice people and have been police-checked but we also rely on the parental knowledge of each child to determine whether on not this is a suitable activity for the child / age-group.
