THE BIG LUNCH AND THE GIANT JELLY CITY

The Gallery /// Click for previous page.

Saturday 21st August from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Sausmarez Manor

But what's going on?

Following The Big Lunch initiative started by Eden Project's Tim Smit, and the successful event held last year in Mansell Street, we are holding another delicious and delightful Big Lunch! This one will be held in Sausmarez Manor so that we can have lovely picnic on the grass. We are also organising a giant jellathon jelly-city. Not sure quite what that is?? Don't worry not are we!

The usual Farmers Market is from 9am to 12pm. Stalls stay in place for The Big Lunch from 12pm to 3pm so that you can buy your picnic lunch from the local producers. If you prefer to bring a picnic that's no problem. Then, from 3pm to 8pm, we have the Funk da Rock 'Local Live Lounge' with live music, Rocquettes Cider flowing and abundant smiling faces.

We have teamed up with Ecomodo so if there is anything you need to borrow (or would be kind enough to lend out) get on to the Ecomodo website and get sharing. www.ecomodo.com

9am to 12pm - The Farmers Market

12pm to 3pm - The Big Lunch and the Giant Jelly City

3pm to 8pm - Acoustic Funk da Rock

Get in touch if you want to ask anything at all about this event - happy to help!

DID YOU KNOW? That beetroot juice can be used like litmus paper. The juice turns pink in acid, yellow in alkali.
